Organically grown, single origin, family farmed, lab tested. There are so many buzzwords thrown around these days they sometimes begin to lose merit and meaning. When we use those words to describe our products, it’s not a gimmick or fast talk, but qualities that we are proud of and feel are important. Let us take a moment to fill you in on why they should matter to you.

Anyone that has been paying attention the last few years has surely heard about the dangers and effects being uncovered from the herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides sprayed on the foods we consume. Much of the media attention has focused on one particular herbicide because of a major class action lawsuit, however, there are so many other chemicals used in modern agricultural practices that we just don’t understand the long term effects of. Growing clean chemical free food for our family and friends was the core principle we founded our family farm on. I once heard someone say “I only eat organically grown food, or as we called it 100 years ago…food.” It seems silly to say that, but at some point we lost our way and cheap and easy became more important than safe and quality.

Growing with organic practices is certainly not the easiest way to produce these days, but it is absolutely the best and only way we will grow.

We apply these same principles and practices with our hemp crop. Every input that goes into our rich, fertile West Tennessee delta soil is OMRI certified. Each hemp plant is planted by hand, harvested by hand, and processed by hand. This is the value in small scale family farming, absolute control over quality and oversight at every step. Our ability to account for every drop of CBD in our products distinguishes us from the crowd.
